Exator SplitMate Firewood processor
The Exator SplitMate is a hydraulically operated firewood processor that attaches to a base machine and handles loading, cutting, and splitting with a single device – directly from the cab. Compact and easy to transport, the unit processes the wood right where it is and drops the ready firewood exactly where you want it. Operation requires no electricity, only a single double-acting hydraulic system.

Simple operating process

Loading the logs: a log lifter is used to lift the logs from the pile. One to three logs at a time can be lifted onto the machine to await transfer to the feed table.

Feed table: hydraulically movable table with a splitting force of 10 tons.

Log locking and measuring: the log is fed against the log stopper, which is adjusted to the desired firewood size. When the gripping arm is lowered, the feeding table can be withdrawn.

Cutting: the log is sawn to the specified length (maximum cutting diameter 400 mm). During the sawing phase, the logs are held firmly in place by a gripping arm. For long logs, an adjustable support is provided.

Splitting: the cut tree falls into the splitting chute, and the next feeding movement splits it hydraulically. The splitting wedge can be replaced with a 2-, 4-, or 6-way version.
